Peer Support Specialist
Metrocare Services
Provide recovery support to patients and families in the community
Provide personal coaching to patients & families in the community
Assist with appointments and daily functions. The majority of appointments are home visits
Document services provided into AVATAR
Maintain confidentiality of reports
Monitor and assess the individual in service progress
Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Must be certified within one year of employment
Intermediate level in email and word processing programs
Ability to utilize the internet for resources
Must learn training materials and provide training to groups of individuals in service
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Customer-friendly approach to the individual in service and visitors
Required training in CPR and SAMA offered by the organization
