Online Orientation for Texas Peer Specialists (RSPS and MHPS)

Completing the online orientation is the first step to becoming a certified Peer Specialist in Texas. This orientation will provide you with an overview of the career field, help you gauge your readiness, and ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements needed to obtain your certification. 


PeerForce is a statewide coordination hub for the Texas peer workforce. We support new individuals entering the career field find and access the resources they need to get certified and find employment.

Yes. PeerForce is a non-profit program and all of our our services are 100% free.

PeerForce does not oversee certification for Texas peer certifications. The Texas Certification Board is the certifying body responsible for the credentialing of Texas Peers.
