ONLINE WEEKEND Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) Certification Training

WEEKEND TRAINING SCHEDULE: there will be 3 consecutive weekends for the RSPS Training.

 

SCHEDULE:

REQUIRED 6hr Core Training: Saturday May 14th from 9-3pm (if you haven’t taken it already)

•1st Day of RSPS training: Sunday May 15th from 9-5pm

•2nd weekend of RSPS training Saturday & Sunday May 21-22st from 9-5pm

•3rd last weekend of RSPS training Saturday & Sunday May 28-29th from 9-5pm. COMPLETION DAY! (must attend all 5 days)

 

(MUST register and complete screening process to attend training)

Want to become a Recovery Coach?

 

*Are you 18 or older?

 

*Do you have 1 year of lived experience in recovery substance use and mental health condition?

 

*Do you desire to utilize lived experiences to help others with their recovery & self-Discovery process?

 

*Do you have the open & willingness to publicly identify your recovery & self-discovery journey?

 

Get state certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist and/or Recovery Support Peer Specialist 46 hour state/Medicaid credentialed.

 

Feel free to look on www.tcbap.org for more information on credentialing as both RSPS can be applied for your certification.

 

***Note: Here’s the process for individuals to become certified to bill Medicaid for peer support. The steps need to be completed in order. MUST TAKE BEFORE TRAINING IF WANTING TO LEAVE WITH THE RSPS CERTIFICATION***

Investment Fee: $550 total for 5-day training; includes participant manual.

$60 for REQUIRED zoom Peer Core-Training which makes you eligible for the MHPS/RSPS 5-day training.
