April 18th & 19th Sat – Sun, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM AND April 20th-24th Mon-Fri 5:30 PM – 9:30 PMÂ
Mental Health Peer Specialist Training is the 40-hour curriculum for peer specialists seeking** specialization in supporting people with mental health challenges. This training meets Texas Certification Board, Texas Health and Human Services Commission requirements. This training takes place in the virtual classroom. Learning covers the following domains:
Advocacy
Crisis and Trauma Support
Recovery SupportÂ
Ethical Responsibility
