MHPS Supplemental Training Evening & Weekend – Virtual

Training dates include ALL the following dates and times:

October 20th – October 24th, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM 

AND

October 25th – 26th, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 

Mental Health Peer Specialist Training is the 40-hour curriculum for peer specialists seeking** specialization in supporting people with mental health challenges. This training meets Texas Certification Board, Texas Health and Human Services Commission requirements. This training takes place in the virtual classroom. Learning covers the following domains:

Advocacy

Crisis and Trauma Support

Recovery Support 

Ethical Responsibility

The cost for the supplemental training is $400
