Supervision

Part of the certification process for both Mental Health Peer Specialists and Recovery Support Peer Specialists is the completion of 250 supervised work experience hours.

The supervision of these work experience hours is provided by a Peer Specialist Supervisor.

Supervision can be provided internally or externally, meaning that the supervisor overseeing your hours does not have to work in the same organization where you are completing your hours.

If you do not have access to an internal Supervisor at your place of work or internship, we can help connect you with a PSS to oversee these work hours to get you certified.
