ONLINE/WEEKEND Recovery Support Peer Specialist-(RSPS) Certification Training

Recovery Support Peer Specialist-RSPS training focuses on equipping individuals with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide effective peer support to individuals in recovery from mental health and/or substance use challenges.

All sessions are from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Day 1: Sunday, March 29th
• Weekend 2: Saturday, April 4th & Sunday April 5th (off due to Easter)
• Weekend 3: Saturday & Sunday, April 11th & 12th

• Weekend 4: (Completion Day): Saturday April 18th

Attendance on all five days is mandatory for certification.

You will leave with a certificate of completion of both (RSPS) 46 education hours that lead you to obtaining your credentials (Medicaid billable); TCBAP approved credentialing, Motivational Interviewing techniques (note: people pay thousands of dollars to learn the basics of MI), effective/impactful communication & engagement techniques, cultural sensitivity, reducing the stigma in language techniques, ethic for your certification, knowledge on insight of LGBTQ population & multiple pathways to recovery.
