WEEKNIGHT – RSPS Supplemental – Virtual

**Completion of the RSPS Core Curriculum is a PREREQUISITE for this training.**

Training dates include ALL the following dates and times:

December 12-16 from 5 PM – 9:15 PM AND

December 19-22 from 5 PM – 9:15 PM.

Recovery Support Peer Specialist Training is the 46-hour curriculum for peer specialists seeking specialization in supporting people with problematic substance use and recovery from substance use disorder.

This training meets Texas Certification Board, Texas Health and Human Services Commission requirements, and grants reciprocity for working in several other states if certified. This training takes place in the virtual classroom. Learning covers the following domains:

Advocacy (Minimum of 10 education hours required)
Mentoring/Education (Minimum of 10 education hours required)
Recovery Support (Minimum of 10 education hours required)
Ethical Responsibility (Minimum of 16 education hours required)

The cost for the supplemental training is $400, with the potential for scholarship opportunities.
