A Career in Peer Support
A career in peer support can be rewarding and fulfilling for those who are interested in helping others and have personal experience with the issues that their clients may be facing. Peer support workers are typically individuals who have lived experience with mental health issues, addiction, or other challenges and use their personal experiences to help others who are struggling with similar issues.
Mental health is a vital part of everyone’s life, and it can be hard to find the right support.
Peer support is the act of providing emotional support to another person who has experienced similar mental health issues.
